The ecological awareness vodi instigating the work of craft plastic artist and actress Claudia Gianini. His pieces made based on PET bottles arouse feelings of beauty and social responsibility.
The curiosity about painting objects with colored glues has drove the actress Claudia Gianini to the plastic arts´ way. But the aesthetic idea of her jobs was not enough. The actress woke up her green consciousness by working with the re-utilization of PET bottles. That was the beginning of the project “Artes, Coisas & Troços” that produces thousands of art products, home stuff and toys all of them full of green consciousness!
Recycling and creating produces great things like little boxes to carry jewels, incense burners, hygienic paper´s carrier among many other objects.
Her repertory of ornaments includes mobiles, wind bells, refrigerator irons and little mandalas. To the child are produced plastic mills and another toys. To her, making toys is very important because begins to give the green consciousness to the young.
She has got her ecological speech already done: “The succeeding of the selective garbage collect depends of everybody and it is very important to the environment. Everything works as a little gear if everyone does his work we are going to feel the difference very soon.” She says.
Who buys an object made by Claudia takes a message together were is written “A plastic bottle takes one hundred years to disappear. Artes Coisas & Troços reutilizes Pet bottles were are doing our part! How about you? Do your part to! Oh, do not trow trash in the streets! The nature is glad about it...”
And in this way, putting art and ecological consciousness together, the artist believes that she is contributing to a better world. Cleaner, more beautiful and happy.

CURRICULUM - Cláudia Gianini
Professional actress graduated by the Macunaíma School of Theatre in 1998.
Has coursed Fashion Design and Art Direction by the SENAC in 1995.
Works with research and creation of objects made of PET bottles and other recyclable object since 2001.
Since 2004 works with the professional formation of homeless people and poor teenagers together with the OAF- Fraternal Assistance Organization in the project “Oficina Escola Arte que Vem da Rua” were she has created an equip of monitors of courses, lectures and artistic productions.
She was a teacher at the Elder Reference Center in São Paulo which coordinates activities to the elder people.

She has participated in five step by step magazine issues, news papers and TV shows disseminating several PET handcraft techniques.
She also offers courses, workshops and gives lectures about Environmental consciousness.
